Easter in France
Back from my Holidays and getting back into the swing of normal life again. (Well as normal as it can get for now but more about that at a later date) I do love going away but also do like to get back home so I can eat a normal amount again :-)
We went to France this trip and made the most of Lisa's Birthday and the long Easter weekend.
A quick Itinerary would be:
Jersey-Saint Malo-Bordeaux-Cognac-La Rochelle-La Baule-Quiberon-Concarneau-Dinan-Saint Malo.
We went with Lorraine and Father Parker. Saw some really nice things and places along the way. Went to Saint Emilion and did some wine tasting there. Felt a little tipsy after that! Saw where the Nazi's constructed their submarines in Bordeaux. Walked past the Camus factory in Cognac. Went to the Aquarium in La Rochelle.
Went to some lovely restaurants too. I suppose my favourite would be Le Cottage in Dinan.
I suppose the worst restaurant must have been this pizza place:
We didn't eat there of course, I just found it quite amusing. I suppose something like that would be great at 2 o'clock in the morning after a heavy session in town or something.
Anyway, as per usual I have uploaded some photo's of the trip on Flickr if you want to take a look.

Storms in Jersey II
It's quite amazing to see the force of Tide and Wind together. To think that some of these granite blocks you can see must be well over a ton in weight! Well anyway, that's what happened to our coast line last night.

Storms in Jersey
If you are in Jersey at the moment you will have noticed a slight breeze outside today.
I have just been sent some photo's of what this breeze is doing to the South coast too!
Have a look for yourselves they are quite large photo's so may take a few seconds to load.
I think I will take the North coast road back home tonight.
News article on the storms. From This is Jersey
