Blue Cloud in Parma
I want your opinion since most of you guys are pretty intelligent :-)
In the extended entry of this post is a video taken from CCTV of a "blue thing".
I've been reading comments left by people on different websites and can't believe what they are coming out with.
The different ideas include: Ghost, Plastic Bag, Insect, Angel, Jesus, God and Gas.
I wont say what I think it is yet but was interested to see what you lot thought it could be.
I'm pretty sure you will probably think the same way as me on this.
Well I hope so otherwise I am going crazy.

Deffo a fake job. No perspective on the thing and the movements are a little too scripted. Plus the opacity is always the same round the edges.
I agree with Beav - piece of cake to do in any compositing app. Hell you could do it in paint if you had the time!

I am wondering how the cctv managed to zoom in on the 'ghost' was someone watching it or does the cctv react to motion???
Also, the customers said they could see it moving around outside, but how come no customers were out in the forecourt looking at it - my theory is that it is forged, using some kind of light reflected on glass!??? Or just paintshopped!!??

yup i agree, animated over the top, its movement is jumpy and its in the foreground the entire time. i cant believe such a shoddy fake would make news.

Well finally someone has come up with what I thought it was.
A bug on the lens out of focus and lit by fluorescent lights. When I first saw this video that was all I could see! It still is all I can see. I suppose it could be faked but don't think anyone would bother.
Donna, just to answer a couple of your queries.
Nobody did see it outside, there were no witnesses. Probably because it wasn't actually flying around. The CCTV didn't zoom in, it was someone videoing the CCTV screen and zoomed into that whilst playing.
So looks as though I am going crazy as only one of you came up with the same as me and the rest think it is faked. Oh well I kinda knew that anyway :-)

The Bugs win it 4 - 3 then. Now we need some kind of nerd to go up to Parma and stick an Insect on the Lens so we can have some proof.
