Ok this is more of a pointless website rather than weird.

Creepy Chinese Girl

Weird site number 1 for today:

Not too sure what it's all about but I bet it would freak you out when you get back from the pub.

Jersey Beer Festival 2007

Who Hoooooo! Guess what I found out last night?
It's only going to be the Jersey Camra Beer Festival in 2 weeks time.

There will be over 130 different real ales varying in style from milds and stouts to bitters, there will also be real lagers and fruit beers. Also a large range of ciders and perries (made from pears) and continental beers and lagers.

I'm not the biggest fan of real ales but the continental lager part sounds good to me.
The festival is being held from the 6th to the 8th of September which just happens to be the weekend I start my holidays. Now you couldn't have timed it better if you tried.
Anyone fancy a few beers that weekend?

Jersey Live 2007

Don't know if anyone is interested but I have got a ticket for Jersey Live 2007 for sale.
It is for Saturday and Sunday and also comes with a weekend shuttle coach ticket good for both days.

The Jersey live ticket would normally cost £75 and the weekend shuttle coach ticket would cost £10.
If anyone fancies it then let me know and make me an offer.
Remember it starts this weekend!

Cheffins

For some reason I wish I had seen that photo before we went out this Sunday for lunch.
We went to Cheffins in St Aubin.
Would you believe that we had to wait over an hour and a half before we got our starter? Even then some of us had finished whilst others were still waiting!
I must admit there wasn't anything wrong with the food when we finally got it though. In fact it was gorgeous but by the time I had been given my main course I had gone past the eating stage, so hardly touched it.
The manager told us he would only charge us for half the wine we had and we could have a free coffee or short.
Which I suppose was better than nothing but that still means I paid £28 for a starter and a few drinks.
I will think twice before I go there again that's for sure.

This gorgeous, well behaved, house-trained 2 year old boxer urgently needs a home preferably without any other animals (no cats) before 1st September.

Currently in foster-care he is extremely well behaved, has a loving, gentle nature and is good with children.

Oh and his name is George.

Band Daze

I told you it was going to be a day of photo's.

This time it is a bunch of photo's which I have just recently dug up from the past. I forgot I ever had these, they are from when I was in a band called Street Lethal. It was quite a heavy band, hence the long hair, ripped jeans and leather jackets.
Some of these photo's were taken by professionals and some were just taken for the fun of it. I'm sure you will be able to tell the difference.

Overdose on Coffee

So this girl had an overdose on Coffee huh?
Then she was sent to the Hospital too.

I say she's a light weight,
I had the same thing happen to me in France a few years ago.
All you need is a load of mates coming in to give you Coke (more caffeine) every couple of hours and then go on the piss the next day.
That's what I did. I have to confess that it was probably one of the worse days of my life though.
I think I should have been taken to Hospital really. At least I know I'm not the only person it has happened to.

Flickr Pro account frozen

Thanks to Rob I am now using movable type version 3.35. Not that any of you would know what that means anyway.
Am having a few issues with it but hopefully will be up and running normally soon. You may notice a few extra comments being made from some lovely spammers but that's about the only problem at the moment.
But seriously, thanks for sorting this out for me Robert. It must have taken you a while.

Now onto another issue: Flickr Pro

My Pro account has been frozen.
So I have only got a few photo's on the site now.

I can't believe the amount of hassle I have had trying to sort out the payment method with them.
And it's all over £12 ! ish.
The problem is quite simple really. They have an old card of mine from 5 years ago and they want me to give them the number and verification number of it, to add a new card. Oh and they have my old address too. Not La Pommeraie but an even older one, Le Sellier!
I can give them my old card number as I can remember it but I can't remember the verification number on the back.
Anyway I have been contacting them for a while now and as I said before my account has now been frozen.
This is where I start to do my moaning and groaning bit:

WHAT A FUCKING STUPID SYSTEM YAHOO AND FLICKR HAVE.
How fucking very dare you freeze my account.

Now they have told me it is going to take 3 more days to reply to my email.
I know exactly what it is going to say when I finally get the reply. It will say the same fekkin thing the last 2 replies said.

"We apologize for the inconvenience that this issue has caused you. To add additional cards to your Yahoo! Wallet go to http://wallet.yahoo.com."

If only I could actually speak to a human and not keep getting automated replies from a stupid computer.

I think I have moaned enough on this one for now.

Happy Birthday Tony

Just come back from a weekend in France (St Servan / St Malo) and finding it a little difficult to get back into the swing of things at work.
Not surprising after that weekend really.
Had a great time with everyone and wanted to say thanks to Tony for organising it.

Anyone want some money?

I can't give my money away today!
I haven't got a clue what is going on but first I tried to renew my subscription for my Norton Anti virus and had so much hassle doing it I decided to get rid of it and download AVG instead. Now that is installed I can't check my emails anymore so am going to try and get a new Norton now.
Then I try to renew my Flickr pro account and they wont renew that until I give them my postcode. I gave them that and they say it doesn't match the one they have got on file!
So I tell them I have moved house and gave them the postcode to my old place and that still didn't match.
Next on the list was my office postcode and guess what? Yup, that didn't match their records either. So now I can't renew the Flickr account. Just great.
I didn't know it would be this difficult to spend my money.

Life's a Bitch

Just about got back to normal after the week away and now starting to sort out the weekend ahead. I'm a sucker for punishment I can tell you.
Saturday is going to be a good one. I seem to have two parties to go to at the moment, both of which are bound to be xlnt.
Then there's the Havre des Pas Festival on Sunday which should be a good laugh. Will almost seem as though we will be on Holiday as I don't often go down that part of Jersey out of work hours. I know that's going to end up a long day as I am doing the Thrift in the morning which means I have to get into the pub early :-)
Ah well, life's a bitch.
