Summer Solstice
Now this sounds like a plan.
"To mark the longest day of the year, the Jersey Arts Centre has programmed an evening filled with drumming and dance music performed by the Gambia Beat Band, sand castle building, the burning of a giant wicker man and a spectacular fire display. Bring a picnic or enjoy a bite to eat from the beach cafe. It will take place at Greve de Lecq, St. Ouen between 8-10pm and will be free."
Ok, I may not be into the sand castle bit but there are 2 pubs down there as well.

Tony, we have got quite a few people already. We are all meeting at the Farmers and getting the bus down from there. Will let you know when finalised.

To meet up about 7:30pm ish down Greve. If you can't get a lift you could prob get a bus there. Not sure if you would have to walk from Leoville though. You could always meet at my place and get the bus from there down to the bay. That bus leaves at 7:10pm. Then we can get either the 10:25pm or 11:40pm bus back, which will go straight past your place.

We will be there approx 8.30 - with Dotty and Gary Kemp! We are walking down but bussing it back - quite looking forward to it now! :-)

missed the express bus from Malaysia to Jersey....ended up on top of a mountain surrounded by strawberries, and feeling cold in 25 degrees!!

Can't believe you missed the Malaysia to Jersey bus guys. Was well looking forward to seeing you both. Maybe next time. Mind you a mountain sounds better than a dodgy wicker man. Watch out for the bald monkey!
