Comp 10
Ok, here is competition 10. This should be an easier one. See how far you can travel like Spiderman.
There is also going to be an extra point to see who can get the shortest distance.
If there is a tie break then each tied entry will get the same points.
I will give you until Monday again, so please have your screen shots in for then, so I can post the results on Tuesday.

Poppy Appeal
Don't know what to do in your Lunch hour?
Why not go down to British Home Stores (Jersey Branch) and say hello to Alan.
He is selling poppies to raise money for the Poppy Appeal for ex service men.
He will be outside the shop every lunch time between 12 and 2pm all this week and most of next week too.

Blog Birthday
My Blog is 3 years old today. Who would have thought it would still be going 3 years on? Especially with the stuff I put on here. I suppose it keeps me amused and also gives you guys something to do when you have exhausted the rest of the Internet. I wonder if it is still going this time next year?

Competition 9
Summer must be well and truly behind us now. So I am going to start up the competitions again. I haven't got a clue how many people are still with us but we will sus that out soon enough no doubt.
The rules, the point system and the winners prize are still the same.
This first game is a right Biatch to play.
I wont describe it, best you just go and have a look for yourselves and try it out a few times. Remember to click the Union Jack to display it in English first.
Send me the screen shots of your best scores to enter.
The closing date for this game will be next Monday. So that gives you all a weekend to try and sus it out.

Fuck off Friday
It's Friday and that should be a good day most weeks.
Not for me as it would seem.
My computer has been infected with a virus or spyware type of thingy.
How did I get it? I haven't got a clue. Nothing downloaded recently and haven't opened any dodgy email attachments either.
How did I notice I had it? Because while I was working away my modem decided to start dialling. So I disconnected the telephone line quickly. Then the computer is really slow and sluggish. Just what I need today!
Have downloaded Spy Sweeper now and it picked up loads of Adware and a few Trojans too. Then Spy Sweeper decides to hang as well. I try to shut that down and windows wont let me because the system has locked it. Just fekkin' great.
I would rip my hair out if I had some.
Well I hope this makes you lot feel as though you are having a good day after all.

Bat out of Hell III
Did anyone else hear MeatLoaf live on the Radio this morning? Probably not since it was on Radio 2! He was bloody crap. Couldn't sing a note in key. I will still be buying the new album, Bat out of Hell III, as it would have been recorded in a studio and they would have made him sound a hell of a lot better. Also Marion Raven is featured on the album and she is well good. Oh and not forgetting that Nikki Sixx helped write it also Brain May and Steve Vai perform on it.
That's probably the only way Meat "Marvin Lee Aday" Loaf could get any sales from the album.

C'est Fini
Well that's the end of that working week. Looks as though I am going to have a good weekend too.
Tonight I am going to a race night. Hopefully to win some money but also to have a nice meal and a load of drinks with some mates.
Saturday I am going out for a friends Birthday bash down the Devil's Hole which should be a right laugh. Then on Sunday I will be doing the Thrift in the morning with a massive hangover. So please be gentle with me that day. Or I'll just die.

Postage to Jersey
How annoying is it living in Jersey, when it comes to the Internet?
I have been trying to buy a bed online for about a week now and have found the exact one I want. I have the money to give them. Will they post it to Jersey? No, it's as simple as that. That goes for eBay too.
So what are my options then? I called a haulage company to go pick it up for me and they quoted me £591.
I think I'm going off the idea of getting a new bed.

Have had a bit of spare time on my hands recently and decided to clean up my laptop and p.c at home. In doing so I came across a cracking photo of Alan, a mate of mine, at my old house in St Mary.

Catching up
Ok ok I have been slacking since I got back from my hol's. I just can't seem to get back into the swing of things yet. Summer has finally finished and the heating is slowly coming back on in the office. It probably would be coming on at home too if it wasn't for the fact that it isn't bloody working. More money!
I haven't had a lack of things to blog about either, it's just the getting round to doing it that seems to be the problem. So here's the stuff I missed out on this week:
Rob got a new job and I wanted to congratulate him. So Congratulations mate, I hope you settle in and really enjoy it.
Alan passed his driving test. Well done you, about time too ;-) Only messing.
No excuse for you not to take us all on a pub crawl round the Island now.
It was also Din Don's Birthday on Wednesday which I forgot to mention. So a Happy belated B'day from my blog Donna :-)
Finally:
I got my Kiss Jacket back from the alteration shop yesterday. It nearly fits me now too! It should fit me in the winter when I am wearing BIG clothes though. I dread to think how much it cost me in total but it's something I always wanted and now I've got it.
Now I've caught up with everything I am going to try and stay on top of it all. Plans for the future include getting the competitions going again. We've all had the summer off and now it's time to compete. Hopefully somebody will knock me off the top spot. Beav is in close second place and in the running for the Voucher. So my money is on him to win.
Anyway, back to work now. Ta Ta.

Elephant kills in Kenya
I haven't even been back from Kenya for a week yet and what's on the news today?
An African elephant has killed a tourist in the Masai Mara. He apparantely got married over there and was trampled to death a week later. His wife was unhurt.
I must admit when you are 10 feet away from one of these animals, like we were:
You know that if they wanted to turn your car over they could easily.
We had a wedding at our Hotel last Monday, kind of feels really weird to think it could be the same couple.
