More Photo's
Have just put up the last of the photo's from Kenya. THese were taken with Rob's camera which I hadn't used before. But I think quite a few turned out quite good. Take a look for yourselves.

Back from Kenya
Yup I'm back. That seemed to go really quickly that holiday. What a great time we had. Had a great Hotel, great Safari, great Snorkeling, great Food and great people we met.
I will keep it short but tell you a little about the Holiday.
The Hotel was really better than I thought it would be. It was pure paradise. So if you ever go to Kenya (Mombasa) I would definitely recommend the Southern Palms Beach Resort. The weather was excellent most of the time apart from a 15 minute rainfall sometimes. Which was nice as it cooled the place down.
The Safari was out of this world. Our driver called Clyde A.K.A Mr Happy Man was such a laugh and also really good at taking us to the right places. We saw loads of animals including 4 out of the big five (Rhino, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Lion). The only one we didn't get to see was the Rhino. The Rhino reserve was closed because the Elephants were on the move. We managed to see Lions with a kill (Zebra) and with their cubs. Wildebeest, Giraffe, Baboon, Jackal, Hyena, Cheetah, Water Goat, Mongoose, Vervet Monkey, Gazelle, Steenbok, Eland, Impala, Hippo, Warthog, Ostrich, Eagle, other big birds, lizard etc etc.
That was all in 3 days so you can imagine what is was like.
Then there was the snorkeling around Kisite Island. If you look at the top of the Island and zoom in you will be able to see the boats (Dhows) moored there. That is where we started the snorkeling. It was amazing what we saw. I suppose my favourite would have been the Moray eel. We were well lucky to see that. Dolphins too. After the snorkeling it was off to Wasini Island for Seafood Lunch and a dip in Lazy man's Lagoon.
We met the greatest people over there too. They really made the Holiday.
One thing which was quite difficult to take in though was the poverty that was everywhere. They have it so hard over there but still are the nicest people you will ever meet. That's one Holiday I will never forget.
Anyway, enough rant pictures say it better than I can. I have uploaded some I took with my Kodak camera and will upload the rest later on tonight if poss.
Good to be back I suppose :-)

Last day
At last. It is my last day at work before I go on holiday. I am soooo looking forward to having a break from work. Still got loads to do, like packing and stuff though but once that is done I don't have to do anything too strenuous for the next 15 or so days. Because I will be here.
I've also got a chance to win a bet whilst I am over there. Shouldn't be too difficult though. All I have to do is take a picture of a tiger in Kenya. Anyone know where I can find one?

Air Display
Just a quicky because I am leaving work now. It is the Air Display today, so most of Jersey has a half day at work. I am going down to St Helier to watch it, most probably from the beer tent, if anyone fancies joining me.
If you can't watch it from there then maybe you would like to watch it live online instead.
Right I can feel a beer coming on. See you.

La Buvette Reunion
La Buvette used to be one of my favourite haunts when I was a bit younger. We used to play loads of gigs down there and got totally wasted (as we did). Was really dissapointed when it closed down. Richie who used to be the manager there (who is now a local at our pub) has told me of a La Buvette Reunion night. Shame I wont be able to go to it, I'm sure it will be a great night out. They have put up a website promoting the reunion and has some old photo's that really bring back some memories. So if you have £12 to spare for a great night out I would really recommend going along. O.k it's being held at the Havana Club but it's better than nothing.

Photo's from Mr P
Just been down the Mary's to do the Thrift club and Mr Tony F'ing Parker gave me a disk with a load more photo's from the House Warming. There seems to be a bit more flesh on these ones. Have uploaded them now so go take a look. Thanks Mr P.
