Au Revoirs

'Tis the time to finally put my computer to sleep for about a week now. Hopefully if all goes to plan I will be in a different part of Jersey tomorrow. Let's see if it all goes through court this time.
Isn't it funny how the computer is the last thing to be packed up?
Speak to you all on the other side soon :-)
Au Revoirs for now xxxx

Kayaking

What a gorgeous day! It is 26°C today and may get warmer. There is hardly any wind either and for once that will be a good thing on a hot day. Reason being is that I am going kayaking this evening. A mate of mine has his own company which is called Jersey Kayak Adventures and is taking a load of us out. I haven't really got the time to spare, what with the house and everything but he assures me that it is very relaxing and should take my stress away at least while we are out there. I really can't wait. We may even see some Puffins or even some dolphins while we are out. Don't know what I will be like if we bump into dolphins on a kayak, people don't realise how big they actually are until they are right next to one. I used to see them all the time in my boat but at least my boat was bigger than them.
Anyway, best get on with some work then I can leave early to get into my Kayak gear. Whatever that is.
P.S. Take a look at some of the photo's on his site. Some are just stunning.

Living in a Box

It's been a while hasn't it?
I have just been far too busy to really spend anytime on my site, due to lots of things.
The house is still taking most of my time up. Living with boxes everywhere is a pain in the arse.
Tonight I have to move my boat which is always a chore. Luckily a client has given me permission to put it on his land for a few weeks and he only lives down the road from me.
On a different note, I just wanted to say well done to Alex, Ani and Dan for all graduating this month. I'm sure you're all well chuffed :-)

Millionaires

Well it looks as though we are all going to be rich soon. Well 5 of us in the pub that is. A certain Mr "K" has put a few quid on the Euro Millions thingy for us. Wouldn't that just sort out everything? We were spending it all in the pub tonight too. I was going to buy a nice place in France or Spain on the coast with my own little marina. Oh and a f*ck off mansion in Jamaica too. And a plane and a boat and a....and a .... and a.... ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Whaling

So whaling is in the news again today. Japan and its pro-whaling allies hold the majority of votes at the International Whaling Commission (IWC). They got it by only 1 vote. This is a massive set back as some populations have still not recovered from the slaughter of decades of commercial whaling.
This is a wake up call for the world to take back the IWC and protect whales before it is too late.
Have a read for yourselves and then try and do something about it if you believe it is right.

Bollox

I can't believe it. The house has fallen through again. Starting to get a headache big time now. Is it always this hard when buying and selling houses? When I finally do move into a new one, I am going to stay there for good I think.

Submachine 2

Haven't put a point and click up for a while, so here is the latest I have done.
It's called Submachine 2 The Lighthouse. You will either love it or hate it. This one is a lot harder than the first Submachine so could take you a little while to complete. I liked it but only got 11 of the secrets out of 20 when I had completed it. Can you do better?

Anne Frank's Birthday

“When I write I can shake off all my cares. My sorrow disappears, my spirits are revived! But, and that’s a big question, will I ever be able to write something great, will I ever become a journalist or a writer?”

Kodak

My digital camera has been having problems recently. Just perfect timing since I am going to Africa on my Hols soon.
I contacted Kodak and they have told me it is beyond repair. Strange since I hadn't done anything to it. It just stopped taking pictures one day.
Anyway, since they have even stopped repairing my model they have offered me with an upgrade. It seems they are doing this all the time now. Obviously a lot cheaper to do it this way.
So they have offered me a V530 as a replacement. I will be getting it for about £80 normally £130. Don't know what it will be like but at least it will take my 1 Gig Sd card, which cost me £50 a month or 2 ago.
Problem being, it will probably take 5 months to get here. We shall see.

Misty R.I.P

Today is a very sad day for me. I got up to find that my cat, Misty, had been run over and killed just outside the house on the road. Will miss you loads Misty.

This photo was one of the last ever taken of him. It was taken by Rob at a B.B.Q I had a few weeks ago.

House Moving

What a nightmare house moving is. If you read my blog a few days ago, you would have seen that I was meant to be moving into the new house over the course of today and tomorrow. That isn't the case now. Unfortunately I was called by our Estate Agent last Friday telling me that the woman buying my house has lost the buyers for her house. So that broke a chain of 6 house sales in all.
So the last week has been a nightmare. I faced loosing the house I fell in love with to somebody else. But as luck would have it, I got a call again yesterday, telling me that she has now found another buyer and it should all go through in 3 weeks time. This time the lady who is selling isn't taking any risks, so she has asked for a £1000 deposit. I know it's not much when it comes to property in Jersey but it does make me feel a little better.
I am going to try and not get too excited as I know it can all fall through just as quickly as it started.
Fingers crossed though, I could be moving at the end of this week. I can still feel that House warming B.B.Q coming on.

Missile Balloons

These look really good fun.

Maybe just using one would look better though.
Good excuse to beat the traffic in the morning. (Not that I ever get that problem)

Old Girl Swearing

Don't know why but this seems quite amusing.
I suppose it's because you don't often hear your Gran saying things like F*ck or C*nt.
Good ole BBC.

Smack Book Pro

You gotta love the things Mac users come up with sometimes.
I just found this on the Net. Smack Book Pro
Doesn't look that useful but I bet it would be a laugh for a couple of days.

Battleships

I am thinking of having a knockout Battleships tournament for one of the competitions. The only problem is, I need to test out the online multiplayer game. If anyone fancies testing it out with me, then can you give me a call on msn and we can try it out.

Boxes

boxesformove.jpg
As some of you know, I will hopefully be moving house next week. That's if it all goes through court smoothly!
Now one thing I am really lacking is some boxes. So if anyone can help me out with some, it would be much appreciated. Send me an email if you can help, thanks.
