It's here. Competition 8. This one is game related again.
It's called snow man attack. If you've played it before, lucky you, if not you had better get practising.
Highest score to win. Send in your screen shot for proof.

If there is an equal high score then the entry I receive first is the winner.
(This is a new rule, just incase it only goes up to a certain level and everyone can get the same score.) I was asked to put this up for future games too.

Newtel Solutions
How annoying is it when you can't access your email? I have been without email for 2 days now. I am with Newtel Solutions and have called them loads of times but nobody answers the phones. All I get is a machine. I can't stand those things.
So what am I supposed to do here? It's not just my personal emails, it's my company's too.
I have a feeling some of my clients are going to get pretty pissed off shortly.
Get your arse in gear Newtel and sort this out.
I feel strangely better now I have got that off my chest.

Comp 7 results
Had 5 people enter this comp in the end. This was the first we have seen of Swaz too and judging by his first entry, he is going to put some pressure on the rest of us.
The results are as follows:
Overall score (3 throws):
1st place was Swaz with 2256 which gives him 3 points.
2nd place was Beav with 2132 which gives him 2 points.
3rd place was Markiss with 2086 which gives me 1 point.
4th place was Ani with 1474 but gets no points, at least she didn't loose a point.
5th place (last) was Jeremy with 809 which gives him -1 point.
Longest single throw:
1st place was Markiss with 807 which gives me 1 bonus point. Mwahahahahaha!
2nd place was Swaz with 801. (so close but no points)
3rd place was Beav with 779. (no points)
4th place was Ani with 711. (no points)

Was speaking to Rob last night and he told me he got a single throw in the 900's but couldn't be arsed to send it in. Would have got you a point mate :-) Nice throw.

Uh oh

Seems I have just ordered 6 or 7 films. Can't quite remember what they were but I bet they will be good. Should be for over £70. Will update when I get to work tomorrow :)

Band of Brothers
Sunday is my day of rest. So I have decided to see how much of "Band of Brothers" I can watch in a day. So I am going to get a beer, switch on my surround sound, close the curtains and sit back and relax. Sundays are just the best.

Eurovision 2006
To sum Eurovision up in 3 words "I hate it".
But i'm going to watch a bit of it this year. Why?
Because of Finlands entry. Have you heard about their entry yet? It's a Death Metal band called Lordi. Their entry is called "Hard rock hallelujah". It's a classic metal tune. They are so over the top with the costumes too. They look like a mixture between Klingons and Zombies.
If you fancy winning some money, at the bookies, then stick some on Lordi. I would be well dissapointed if they didn't win. The other entries are just so crap I reckon they will storm it. Even more than that, I would bet that it becomes number one over here as well.

House buying
As most of you should know by now, I have been involved with the property market recently. I have had to put the house, I presently live in, on the market to sell. It went up for sale last week and I have already got a buyer. Now that is what I call a quick sale.
This meant that I hadn't got anywhere to live. So I was looking on the Internet for houses for sale in Jersey and found a lovely one in St Mary. Went to have a look at it. Liked it. Rang the Estate Agent up to ask for another viewing and to put an offer in. He informed me that the owner had changed his mind and wanted to now keep it! How annoying.
Then I found an even better house, for less money. So went up to view it and decided to put an offer in straight away. They came back and refused. Not only that but decided to put the price of the house up too.
Buying and selling houses doesn't half give you a headache you know.
Now for the good news:
I have now put in an offer for a house which has finally been accepted. Woohooooo.
It has all the rooms and bits and pieces that I was looking for too. It has a garden, not too big and not too small. Just right for BBQ's :-)
Has 3 bedrooms, one which will probably become a computer/music room and also has a place for my bar and dinning room table.
I still can't get too excited as there are lots of chains involved and it only takes one link to break but all in all, I now have a big smile on my face.
Fingers crossed it all goes smoothly.

Comp 7
Here is competition 7. It is called Hammer Throw. The game is self explanatory, so go see how well you can do. The game isn't that brain stressing, so this comp will just be a short one. Let's say........ errrr? Screen shots in by Monday please. That gives you a weekend to get some high scores. Any more than that and it will bore you crazy.
Normal points score here but with an extra point to be picked up with the longest single throw.

Comp 6 results
The results are finally in. I have some good news for some people and some bad news for one unlucky person.
First place was Ani with photo 18 she gets 3 points.
Second place was Markiss with photo 19 I get 2 points.
Third place was Beav with photo's 2 and 17 both having 5 votes each.
I am going to give Beav 1 point for each since he was equal third with himself.
So Beav gets 2 points.
Who was last place then?
Well he was the person to send in his entry first. Unfortunately he only sent in one photo but it did get a vote, not enough to stay out of last place though i'm afraid.
So last place goes to Greg who gets -1 point.
I'm starting to feel a little quilty about this minus a point bit now.

Frazzled, Sozzled and Sold
Well that must have been one of the quickest sales ever. I put the house on the market last week and already have a buyer. It took 3 days to go. Had a lot of people interested too. I'm not surprised because it is a legend of a house. Only problem now is I haven't had time to find a place of my own. Best get cracking I think.
Don't think I will be able to afford one as big and nice as this one though. But am still getting my monies worth with it at the moment. I had a BBQ yesterday with a load of mates and it was great sitting outside. Slowly getting frazzled by the sun and sozzled by the vino.
Reminder to self:

Johnny Rocketfingers
For those of you wanting to relieve the boredom, I have just what you need. Johnny Rocketfingers 2 has just been released. It's soooo much better than the first one. It takes a while to load but it is worth it. Honest.
If you want to get to grips of the story line then play the first one first. It's not much of a story line but it will explain the ending of the second game. Confused? Just go play it.

Weekend Coming
Friday at last and going to finish work early for a change. Well at least by 5:30pm.
I can feel a good weekend coming on. Actually I can feel a good week coming on.
Tomorrow I am heading off to France for the day. There are 10 of us going over to Granville for lunch and drinks, so I know what that is going to end up like.
Then it's Liberation Day next week, so Jersey has a Bank Holiday on the 9th which means I have taken of the 10th as well. Reason being? There are 10 of us going out for lunch and drinks again but this time we are staying in Jersey. Every year we manage to get totally blasted, so i'm not expecting to be feeling too good the next day. But it will be worth the pain.

Lack of posting
Well with the lack of posting recently, I thought I had better let you guys know what was going on.
Another step in my life :-) (Number 54 I think)
I have come to the end of me living where I do and have to move on.
I will miss this place but I am sure I will move somewhere nice.
The good thing about websites, of course, is that it wont make any bloody difference where I live. I will still be here when I get wherever I am going to.
Now to buy and sell.
Wonder where I will end up?
Quite exciting really.
Anyone want to buy my place? Go on you know you want to :-)
Anyway, that's why I haven't been here too often. Promise to make more of an effort.
