Takeaway Prank
Since it is April Fools coming up soon, I thought I would have a look around for some pranks and found a prank by Scott Mills. He basically rang a chinese takeaway and ordered his food. Then got them to hold the line and rang another takeaway and connected them on the phone. Sounds confusing but you'll get to grips with it when you hear it.
It's quite an old prank but still funny as f*ck.

Beast of a P.C

Ayers Rock
It's a pretty big rock right? 2¼ miles long, 1½ miles wide and 348m high. You would have thought you would be able to spot it when you are parked only 100 yards away.
Well get a load of this story taken from The Irish Examiner:
Tourists fails to see Ayers Rock from 100 yards
It’s a giant red monolith jutting out of an Outback plain, but one Australian tourist couldn’t spot Ayers Rock despite parking only 100 yards away with his headlights pointing at the landmark.
A 44-year-old man from New South Wales state flagged down a car late last night thinking it was carrying park rangers and asked directions to Ayers Rock, also known by its Aboriginal name, Uluru.
Unfortunately for the hapless tourist, the car was carrying police.
“Nonetheless, the tourist told police he and his female companion wanted directions to the rock,” Northern Territory Police said in a statement.
“The police officer breathalysed the driver after pointing out his headlights were shining right at it – 100 yards away.”
The man was found to be driving with excess alcohol in his blood and without a licence.
He was ordered to appear in court in May.
What a classic.

Friends
I promised myself one thing. I wouldn't update my blog tonight!
So what am I doing? Hmmmmmm
I suppose I will have to explain myself. Had a few, so bear with me and my spelling mistakes please :-)
Friends was the title of this post. The reason being is because my best friend was born on the 27th March 1969. (I think) Only joking I know he was.
We were soo close for years and then he was taken away from his family and his friends. I wont go into the "in's and out's" but the anniversary was yesterday.
I told myself I wouldn't go yesterday and wait a day to see his grave. Because last year I bumped into someone there which was a little awkward. (Stop rambling)
Anyway......
All I wanted to say is. I miss him like f*ck. I personally never let him know that, while he was with me and that is just crap.
It always seems too late to do these things, doesn't it?
Maybe this post serves a point for me and maybe you guys too.
I know my point but i'm not going to spell it out. Well I might :)
Tell your loved ones how you feel. It will only put a smile on their faces after all.
I was too late for that.

Lucky dude 2
I showed you the lucky dude a few weeks ago who's life was saved by a tree blocking a car heading straight for him. Well this is lucky dude 2.
Whilst reenacting out how he won his car, he scratches another ticket landing him with $250000!
That's one lucky dude. Why doesn't that happen to me? Would help if we had a lotto over here I suppose!

Comp 4 Results
Well here they are then. Was surprised that Robert didn't send his in as I think he had a better score than the rest of us. So this time I had 3 entries from Dan, Beav and Markiss.
In First place for distance was Markiss with 9349.64.
In Second place for distance was Beav with 5909.43.
In Third place for distance was Dan with 5850.37.
Then there was an extra point for the best height. Guess who got that?
Yup it was me with 702.67.
Then next best was Dan with 235.10.
Then Beav with 228.63. Very close to Dan!
So this means the points are as follows:
Markiss 4 points (3+1)
Beav 2 points
Dan 0 points (1-1)

The Farmers know
So it seems the Spring is on it's way and this cold spell is just about behind us. About time too. There are too many people getting the winter blues at the moment. So how do I know it is going to get better? The Farmers were out in force, this morning, planting our Jersey Royals. They had started a few weeks back but decided to stop in the end. But now they seem to know better. So if you have been suffering from the winter blues, chin up, it's just about to get warmer.

Comp 4
Here is Comp 4. Sent in by Rob. It is a little fucked up as a game but pretty good fun. It's called Nanaca Crash. You don't need any skill with this so should be fair for all who enter. The winner will be the person who travels the furthest distance.
There is also a bonus point for the person who gets the highest height record. You will have to "print screen" during game play to capture the height. Obviously you don't have to try for the best height but you can if you want to go for the extra point.
Entries must be in by midnight next monday. Enjoy.

Results for Helicomp
Here are the results for the Helicomp. Only had 3 entries so the 3rd place entry will get no points. Reason being is they get 1 point for being third and in this case third place is also last place so they get 1 point deducted too. Typical it had to be me!
Robert came in first place. 3 Points for him.
Beav came in second place. 2 points for him.
Markiss came in third place. 1 point and -1 point for me.
I will put the scores up as soon as I get time to do so.
Also keep an eye out for the next comp. Should be up later today.

It's Friday, it's St Patricks day and it's the day you should all send me your entries for the Helicomp. I will accept them up to midnight tonight. Anything after that wont be counted.
Since it is Friday, I also have a game for you. Not in the comp but just for fun. See if you can beat me. My score is on the highest score part of the game. Not for long I bet. I was in second place as from 10 minutes ago.

$1000 of Beer
I came across a site today with a fellow beer drinker needing your help. He has had a bet with a load of his mates for a $1000 worth of beer (20 cartons). All he has to do, to get hold of this beer, is to get One Billion page views on his site. Yup that's quite a few but at least I can do my bit here.

El Complo
You know I like to annoy you guys with useless stuff to do. Well I found another one that certainly falls into that category. It's called El Complo and is one of those grow games. Just click on the people / items in the right order to finish it. Probably best played when stoned. Not too sure about the ending though. Kinda gay.

Koala and the Lizard
Been a while since I last put a joke on this site but I just got sent an email with one of my old favourites on it. You have probably read it before but if you haven't it is in the extended entry.
A koala is sitting up a gumtree smoking a joint when a little lizard walks past, looks up and says:
"Hey Koala, what are you doing?"
The koala says: "Smoking a joint, come up and have some."
So the little lizard climbs up, sits next to the koala and they have a few joints.
After a while the little lizard says his mouth is 'dry' and is going to get a drink from the river. But the little lizard is so stoned that he leans too far over and falls into the river.
A crocodile sees this, swims over to the little lizard and helps him to the side then asks the little lizard: "What's the matter with you?"
The little lizard explains to the crocodile that he was sitting smoking a joint with the koala in the tree, got too stoned and then fell into the river while taking a drink.
The crocodile says he has to check this out and walks into the rain forest, finds the tree where the koala is sitting finishing a joint, and he looks up and says "Hey you!"
So the koala looks down at him and says:
"Faaaaarrrrk dude.......how much water did you drink?!!"

Holiday '06
With all the sh*t I have been going through recently, it's about time I had something to look forward to. Finally I have, it's a two week holiday in Kenya. 11 nights all inclusive at a top hotel and 3 nights on a safari.
Just to wet my appetite (and tease you guys) I have put some photo's in the extended entry.

Windows Live Messenger
Finally decided that Windows Live Messenger (Beta) version had to go today. Had nothing but problems with it. So have gone back to the faithful Msn Messenger 7.5.
Hopefully the beta version will be sorted out soon as there were quite a few things I did like with it when it did actually work.

Competition 3
Bet most of you will be glad to know that this comp has nothing to do with art whatsoever. Well, apart from Ani that is.
This one is quite simple really. It was sent in by Beav. So he has probably played it alot. It is a helicopter game. Most of you have seen it before I reckon.

Isn't it weird not having a mobile phone? Left mine at work tonight so have been without one for quite a few hours now. Don't normaly get text's or anything but still feeling a little lost without it. Strange really.

The entries are in for the Art competition now. Didn't get that many entries for this one in the end. Was a bit of a pain with the site buggering up half way through the week too. Anyway some of you stuck with it and sent me in something.
