Drunkards
This will probably be the last entry for 2005. Can't see myself logging on to the Net from here on, until next year. I have been quite busy today getting ready for tonight. There should be a load of us going down to our local pub and then, maybe if people are still up for a drink at 1 am, it will probably be drinks round my place 'till the early hours. I have a feeling there will be some drunkards amongst us very soon indeed. I will, of course, be taking my camera out to catch those people doing the silly kind of things you do on new years eve. So could be quite a laugh looking at those tomorrow.
Anyway, hope you all have a great night and an even better new year.

Happy Boxing Day
Since I missed Christmas Day, I thought I would wish everybody a Happy Boxing Day. Oh and wish my Brother a Happy Birthday.
I am still in France at the moment, having a great time. Too much food and booze but that is just how I like it :-)
Hope you are all having a good one and not suffering too much.

Half Day
Well that's nearly me finished for the day. Only half a day at work because I am going away for Christmas this year. Going to take it nice and easy in France. The weather is perfect for getting the boat today too! Should be a flat calm crossing. So no cooking and washing up dishes for me this Christmas. Just get up in the morning and stroll down to the restaurant and have everything cooked for me.
So, with that said, I hope you all have a great Christmas. I will be back before new year, so speak to you guys then. Get ready to party :-)

Bloody Lottery
Well someone is going to be a very happy person today. Winning £373,500.00! No it wasn't me. Well done to whoever did get it though. Mines a pint of carling. Someone in our pub seems to have won £500 though. I was 2 numbers off it. Maybe I have it in a syndicate instead.

Channel Island Lottery
Today is the big day for gamblers all across the Channel Islands. It is the day our lottery is drawn. It's not as big as other around the world but it will sure make someone happy this Christmas. All the available tickets were sold so that means the Jackpot will be in the region of £370,000. Now that would suit me down to the ground. Fingers crossed (for me).
Now does anyone know where I can get the results? I'm itching here!

How much?
Went to town last night to do a bit of late night shopping. Well actually it was really to go and grab a pizza and get some Christmas cards but anyway I still made it into town.
I went to Hallmark and picked out 11 cards. All of which were for close family, Mum and Dad, Brother, Nieces etc etc. Went to the till and watched as the cashier was inputing the cards. I couldn't believe how much cards are these days! £28.65 to be precise. Nearly 30 bloody pounds for a load of paper. What is the world coming to? Even the cashier said that she was getting embarrassed asking for the money! Happy Christmas Hallmark, I know you are going to have a good one.
Mind you, just been on their website and they offer FREE ecards. Maybe that's what I will do next year. I wonder if anyone actually sends those to Family and Friends?

Richard Pryor R.I.P
It was such a shame when I heard about Richard Pryor's death. I used to love that guys films and stand ups. On the day he died I went home and put on his "See no evil and Hear no evil" film. It is hilarious.
Today I had a look at his official website, to see if he had an online book of condolence. What I saw was a little freaky. I took a screen shot of the site as I reckon they will be changing it shortly. Hopefully the web designer will get his arse into gear.

Mouse Control
Feeling a little more in the Christmas spirit today. Reason being? I am being picked up after work and going into town for a mates Christmas do. A few drinks before we sit down for a meal at 8pm then on the lash. Watch out St Helier! Pisshead on his way :-)
So since I am in a Friday mood I thought it was time to give you guys a game.
Yes it's another mouse pointer game but this one gets a little hard towards the end. Tell you the truth, I haven't finished it yet but only spent a couple of minutes susssing it out. Have fun.

30 Gigabytes
First there was Gmail that gave you 2 Gigabytes of storage. Then there was Hotmail that gave you 250 megabytes of Storage (Tight gits).
Now there is 30Gigs that give you (yes you've guessed it) 30 Gigabytes of storage. Soon going up to 50 Gigs and then in the future want to get it up to 100 Gigabytes. The only problem is that you need to be invited by someone who already has an account. Well I do and if you want one I will be happy to send you an invite. Just let me know if you would like one and I will sort it out for you. I only have 7 invites so first come first served basis I'm afraid.

Smurf
Did you know you can put the word "Smurf" into any Christmas song? In fact probably any song at all. Let's just concentrate on the Christmas ones for now though.
Yes we were doing this at the pub tonight! It sounded perfect back there. So let's see how it sounds now. I will give you 3 examples:
1) Smurfing Night, Holy Night. (Silent Night)
2) Oh Smurfing Tree, Oh Smurfing Tree. (Oh Christmas Tree)
and
3) Good King Wenceslas looked out, on the feast of Smurfing. (Good King Wenceslas)

Site Down
You may have seen that my site has been down for a few hours last night and today. No I haven't been a bad boy and not paying my bills. It was a technical problem I think. Rob, who so generously hosts my site for me, told me last night it may be down for a couple of days. It seems that he has sorted out the problem faster than that. God knows what it was all about. Maybe he was a naughty boy :-) Doubt it though.
